Deleting a POI Type

In order to delete a POI Type, there should not be any POIs associated with it meaning that the number of POIs in that category should be zero (0).

 Note: If you have POIs associated with the POI Type, you will presented with an error message that will prevent you from deleting the POI Type.

To delete a POI Type:

1. Go to Configuration > POIs > POI Types

2. The POI Types screen displays
3. Select the POI Type to be deleted
4. Click Delete
5. A prompt appears asking you to confirm the deletion
   • If you choose Delete, the POI Type will be removed permanently from the list of POI Types
   • If you choose Cancel, the prompt will disappear and you will be back to the selected POI Type details screen.
6. Click Delete.
