Customizing a report

There are two options to customize the looks of your report:

  • Customize ViewClosed allows you to re-arrange the report to your liking such as move, sort and group by columns. The customization will only apply to the report that you are currently generating or to the actual report that is displayed.
  • Add Customize ViewClosed allows you to add and save a report customized to your liking. For example, if you want to see the Activity report grouped by Asset, sorted by Asset Type and want to see the first column to be Start Location, you can add a customize view so that each time, you run the report, you do not need to redo all the aforementioned steps.

In both options, you will have the following buttons when you hover over a column:

  • Grouping will allow you to view a compressed view of the list of data.
  • You can group by more than one column.

To group data:

  1. From the Reportingscreen, click ClosedCustomize View
  2. Hover your mouse over the column
  3. Click Group By icon
    • The selected column will appear at the top of the page underneath the Column Group header
    • You can group by more than one column. To do so, repeat the steps 1-3.
  4. Click Save
  • Sorting allows you can change the order in which the data is displayed.

To sort the information:

  1. From the Reporting Screen, click ClosedCustomize View
  2. Hover your mouse over the column
  3. Click Save.
  • You can re-arrange the columns by moving them up and down based on your preference.

 Note: If you remove the checkmark for any of the columns, they will not appear in the report.
