Asset and POI Panel

By default, the panel will be un-pinned. You can pin the panel which will allow you to have the panel up at all times.

  • To pin the panel, click the icon,
  • To unpin the panel, click the icon,

 Note: If you had the panel pinned when you logged out, it will remain pinned the next time you login to the Tracking screen.

The panel consists of :

ClosedSearch field
  • Provides you with the ability to search for assets and POIs
  • By default, the search box is collapsed. If you click the search button, it will expand
  • When performing a search, ensure you have selected the correct tab before executing the search

    For example: If you are looking for a POI, once you executed the search, ensure that you go to the POI tab to see the results.

  • You can search for an asset by:
    • Description
    • Type
    • Resource name.
  • You can search for a POI by:
    • Description
    • Type.

To perform a search using the expanded left panel:

  1. Expand the left panel
  2. Select the tab of the item that you are searching. In this example, we will select POIs.
  3. Type in the search criteria
  4. Click the Search button or hit Enter on your keyboard
  5. The search results are displayed in alphabetical order .
    • The matched words are highlighted within the list.

If you do a search without expanding the left panel, type in your search criteria and click the Search button.

The panel will expand and list the results.

 Note: If you are looking for a POI, you need to switch to the POI tab to see the results. By default, you will see the Assets tab.

ClosedAssets tab
  • Presents a list of assets that is currently defined in Fleet Complete
  • The following information is displayed for each asset:
    • Resource assigned to the asset
    • Asset Name
    • Asset Type.
ClosedPOIs tab
  • Displays a list of POIs as defined in Fleet Complete
  • The following information is displayed for each POI:
    • POI Description
    • POI Type
    • POI Address.
